Came across this map on Twitter (thanks to @isaach). I'm marveling at how travel time changed in a hundred years. What once took days now are hours. I'd still like to think some places in the world still require days of travel. All from London, the "epicenter" of the world. And London still gets you to every corner of the world. Whenever I pass Heathrow (LHR) my favorite thing to do is to look at the flight boards. It's unbelievable - all the cities in the world right there. It's a silly thing but I count the cities I've been to, and I count the places I haven't been to, then I'd mentally pick a place I want to go. Sometimes I look it up. And wonder about the people that live there, the food, clothes, culture, customs. It's one curious world. And the traveler in me is endlessly curious.
